Miloš Jovanović, the leader of the ‘Authentic Right – Dr Miloš Jovanović’ electoral list, has announced a plan to establish a Serbian development bank if his coalition enters parliament. He presented the proposal at a campaign event in Prokuplje on September 26, 2026.

Jovanović stated that the new institution would be created by merging three existing state entities: the Development Fund, the Export Credit and Insurance Agency, and the Serbian Bank. According to him, the development bank would provide more favorable loans to domestic businesses, aiming to strengthen the economy, increase employment, and boost production.

The politician argued the bank’s primary function would be to support the ‘reindustrialization of the country’, with a focus on the food industry, strong agriculture, and specialized manufacturing. The ‘Authentic Right’ coalition is formed by the New DSS and the Movement for the Kingdom of Serbia – Monarchists, and has reportedly received endorsements from several academics and professors.
